Staking, or temporarily locking, your HOME tokens is a way for you to contribute to Defi App's growth while earning rewards. $HOME is the utility and governance token of Defi App. It rewards activity, engagement, and early adoption. Learn more about $HOME.

How Staking $HOME Works

You can choose to stake your $HOME for the following durations:

You cannot unstake, transfer, or sell staked $HOME until your stake duration completes.

Stake Duration	XP Multiplier
3 months	1.5x
6 months	2.0x
9 months	2.5x
12 months	3.0x

Users that stake $HOME receive an XP multiplier and other benefits based on the duration chosen. The multiplier will be applied to your Defi App swap and perpetual trades.

This multiplier is only applied if you have available charges. If you run out of charges, you won’t receive multiplied XP. Users may stake $HOME to receive additional charges.

Benefits of Staking $HOME

Early stakers will gain outsized influence in the future growth of Defi App. 45% of the $HOME supply is set aside for community and ecosystem initiatives.

1. Bonus Campaign Eligibility

Staking $HOME can also make you eligible for special Bonus $HOME campaigns. In past campaigns, stakers earned back a portion of their staked tokens as additional rewards. Future campaigns may offer similar opportunities, with allocations flowing exclusively to those who stake.

2. Earn XP up to 3x Faster

Stakers can activate up to a 3x multiplier on XP gains, depending on stake duration. The longer you stake, the more XP you earn from daily Defi App usage.

3. Accelerated Unstake Schedule

Bonus tokens can be claimed weekly, but the faster you earn XP, the faster your bonus unlocks.

4. Governance Power

Vote on protocol integrations, fee distribution, treasury buybacks, and the future direction of Defi App.

To stake $HOME:

Navigate to your portfolio.

The Stake section is below your assets.

Click the stake button at the bottom right of your screen.

A popup prompts you to select your stake amount and duration.

Click continue to review the summary.

Your stake amount, multiplier, charges, duration and unlock date will be displayed.

You cannot unstake, transfer, or sell staked $HOME until your stake duration completes.

Click Stake HOME to confirm the transaction.

You're done!
