DIP vs. DIS
Defi App Improvement Suggestions (DISs) are informal suggestions submitted by community members to propose new ideas, improvements, or feedback related to the protocol or ecosystem. DIS submissions use a simplified format and are non-binding. They are reviewed by the and relevant to assess relevance and potential next steps, including possible escalation to a formal DIP.

Process
Community Submission: Informal proposal ideas are submitted via forum-based governance channels.
Initial Review: A Community Steward conducts an initial review and approves the content, evaluating proposal feasibility and alignment.
Initial Evaluation: The informal proposal is marked as either Escalated, Rejected or Flagged (for errata or quick resubmission).
Working Group Evaluation: If Escalated, the relevant working group reviews the proposal feasibility for formal DIP submission. If the working group is not in favor, the informal proposal is marked as Rejected or Flagged.
Formal Submission: If approved by working groups, the Community Steward changes the label to Approved and submits refined proposal as an official, numbered DIP.
